Warm air at the vents, ice on the lines, or a breaker that keeps tripping isn't a wait-it-out problem when North Miami Beach, FL temperatures climb. Pressure, amp draw, and coil condition all get checked before any part gets quoted.
Topping off refrigerant without ever finding the leak is one of the most common ways North Miami Beach homeowners get overcharged. Our process is pressure readings, spec comparison, and electronic leak detection, because a properly repaired leak outlasts three top-offs.
Non-negotiables on every cooling call.
Every tech handling refrigerant carries current federal certification — a legal requirement we take seriously.
We bump no-cool calls ahead of routine work, even during the busiest stretch of summer.

Real detection equipment finds the source, not just a temporary patch.
Six issues that cover the majority of what we see.
We locate, repair, and recharge to spec — not just refilled and sent on its way.
A compressor that hums without starting or pulls high amps gets tested at the windings and start capacitor before we recommend replacement.
We find why the coil froze, not just defrost it and hope.
A failing capacitor is a common cause of a dead condenser, and it's usually a same-visit fix once confirmed.
Debris on the coil drives up pressure and shortens compressor life, so we clean and inspect during the visit.
Electrical faults can mimic total compressor failure, so we rule these out first to avoid an unnecessary replacement.
Four steps to cold air again.
Describe the symptom — warm air, ice, tripping breaker — and we route the nearest tech and we'll get a tech moving.

Not immediately dangerous, but running it while frozen risks compressor damage, so it's worth addressing quickly.
